Google has been doing changes continuously, not only to help the audience, but to help the webmasters as well. Now it has upgraded their rich snippets testing tool to reflect in a better manner that how search results will actually look like.
The rich snippets testing tool, which was launched by Google in 2009, has been renamed to ‘Structured Data’ and the list of structured data supported has also been expanded. This new change can result in better search visibility and thus more organic traffic.
So if you have been facing the problem of low click through ratio in search results, then that may not exist now after thus upgrade from Google.

- events
- music
- people
- products
- products with many offers
- recipes
- reviews
Not only this, you can also check the stats about structured data. You can do this by going to the Optimization section and choosing the ‘Structured Data’ there. You can check that from how many pages of your website, Webmaster Tools have extracted the Structure Data. You can check out the found URLs by clicking on the markup type.
