The popular photo-sharing app is now going to hit the Windows Phone. This is a very good news for all the Instagram fans as they can now enjoy it on Windows phone. This popular app is most likely to come after the launch of Windows 8, by the end of this year.
After Facebook’s acquiasition of Instagram, rumors were there that Instagram will lost its own identity. But this news proves all rumors to be wrong. The report comes from The Verge. In the video of Nokia Lumia 920 PureView, Live Tile icon was seen there. The Verge supposed it to be of Instagram but was not confirmed as it could be of Vimeo video sharing app. But now The Verge has confirmed it and the popular photo-sharing app Instagram is going to launch on Windows Phone by 2012- end.
According to report of The Verge:
“Microsoft built its own Twitter and Facebook apps, ones that the company regularly updates. Of course, Microsoft would require Instagram’s permission to publish images to the service, since only unofficial Instagram viewers currently exist outside of the company’s own apps without an explicit partnership.”
This is indeed, going to be good, both for the Microsoft and Instagram. Windows phone has already got some Instagram-like apps such as Bubblegum and InstaCam. Well, the Instagram’s popularity will surely play a big role and will result in user’s attraction towards it. The whole speculation started from the Nokia Lumia 920 PureView video. You can watch out that video below.
